Founded in 1975, TASH advocates for human rights and inclusion for people with significant disabilities and support needs – those most vulnerable to segregation, abuse, neglect and institutionalization. TASH works to advance inclusive communities through advocacy, research, professional development, policy, and information and resources for parents, families and self-advocates. Each year, TASH hosts an annual conference, regional conferences, award dinners, webinar series, and more. The YES! Center The YES! Center is a national Training and Technical Assistance Center that serves as a central source of information, expertise and comprehensive support for the Partnerships in Employment (PIE) state projects. Its mission is to improve competitive, integrated employment outcomes for transition-aged youth and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Publications & Resources TASH members receive access to several publications, including TASH Connections, Research and Practice for Persons with Severe Disabilities (RPSD), and TASH in Action.
